Shadehouses and Hothouses

Shadehouses and Hothouses Shadehouses and Hothouses

WA Young manufacture a range of standard domestic sized shade and hot houses, that enable you to create the ideal growing environment for your plants and flowers. Available in gabled roof design or the more traditional rolled arch roof design, these horticultural growing houses are extremely strong and guaranteed to last for many years.

All the steel work and componentry used in manufacturing these products is Australian made, and is galvanised to ensure maximum longevity and rust protection.

The covers can be made from commercial grade, heavy duty knitted shadecloth - with shade protection factors of either light (approx. 50% shade), medium (approx. 70% shade), and heavy (approx. 80% shade), which you select based on the type of plants or flowers you are growing - or from solarweave hot house plastic, a superior woven plastic material that traps in essential heat during the colder, winter months.

Select the steel frame work you require - usually based on your available area - and the type of cover suitable for your plants or flowers and we'll tailor make the house exactly according to your needs.

WA Young also manufacture a range of commercial sized tunnel houses, also available with knitted shadecloth covers or Agtuff polyfilm for hot house requirements. The polyfilm is an extruded plastic with roll sizes coming up to 11m x 40m such that it can be simply rolled out across the framework and fixed to the base via timber or steel batons, as preferred.

The commercial range of horticultural houses are available in either 14' (approx 4m) or 20' (approx 6.2m) widths, and are extendable in 5' (1.5m) bays. There is also a high wall, 26' wide tunnel house option for those requiring the ultimate in usability.
