Extend the Look and Life of Your Shade Sails!
Customers can add many more years of useful life and enhance the visual impact of their old, dirty shade sails, bringing them back to the glory days of how they looked not long after they first went up, by taking advantage of a wonderful initiative announced by WA Young today. You can use the cooler months of Winter 2010 to completely refurbish your shade sail or sails by selecting WA Young's June 2010 Shade Sail Maintenance Offer. Shade Sail Maintenance Offer: Available ONLY During June 2010:
- Step 1 - We come to you and pull down your sail(s)
- Step 2 - We bring the sail(s) back to our factory, and completely re-stitch all the join seams, all of the reinforced corners, and right around the perimeter (ensuring you don't have to worry when the winds blow up next). Any additional minor repairs also made. If there are any major issues that need considering, we will call you to discuss solutions.
- Step 3 - We high pressure gurney the sail (with some approved mild detergent added to the mix) on both sides to remove all excess dirt and grime and make the sail look as new as it possibly can look (* see note below)
- Step 4 - We tag and store the sail in a safe and dry environment until October 2010. The sail is covered by our fully comprehensive insurance cover during the time it spends with us.
- Step 5 - We reinstall the sail during October 2010 (month can be varied if preferred), ready perfectly in time for the heat of the summer.
Your investment in extending the look and life of your sail(s) is as follows:
First sail (up to 50sqm in size) $347, additional sails on the same site $197 each. A surcharge of $8 per square metre applies for additional sizing above 50sqm - therefore, a 60sqm sail which has 10 addtional square metres, will be an additional $80
This offer applies to all sails that are fixed no higher than 4m in height above ground level. Where the sail is higher, additional needs to be quoted for lifting equipment etc, which we are happy to price for you on request.
Offer also only applies to sails within the extended Adelaide metropolitan area - additional charges may apply for travel further north than Gawler, further north-east than Houghton, further east than Aldgate, and further south than Sellicks Beach.

* A note about sail cleaning - results vary dramatically based on the age and location of the sail(s), and how well or otherwise they have been maintained over the course of their life. Most sails improve dramatically in look, however an overall, slight streakiness will usually result from the overlapping of the gurney strokes. We take the utmost of care to ensure that the sail comes up AS IMMACULATELY AS IT POSSIBLY CAN, given the factors mentioned above.
